1924 Sydney Sovereign - PCGS MS62

It’s been a while since I’ve had a 1924-S Sovereign in stock. They’re scarce generally, and very rare in Mint State. The coin photographed above is graded MS62 by PCGS, and the first 1924-S Sovereign I’ve had in stock since March 2012. The coin is original, with nice bloom and lots of detail in the strike. The fields are, as expected for an MS62, slightly freckled, but its eye appeal is not impaired. The new owner will be impressed! Catalogues $4,300 in McDonald and £2,750 in Spink in UNC (2013).
