How often do you find a 1959 Melbourne proof penny with full red? Not often at all, but don’t take my word for it. According to the PCGS Population Report, PCGS has certified 59 examples of the 1959 Melbourne Penny, but as of September 2013, only four have graded with a full Red designation.
