2014 Indian Gold Sovereign coins for sale

Indian gold sovereignHot off the dies are the Royal Mint’s latest issues from India. Following on from last year’s success, the Mint, in partnership with MMTC-PAMP, has issued gold sovereigns for the year 2014, all marked with a bold “I” (for India) mintmark. On top of that, the Mint has gone one step further and issued a gold half sovereign as well, the first of the denomination to be struck on the subcontinent. Both coins are being minted in Delhi and are proving to be extremely difficult to source outside India.

I have managed to secure a small supply of both coins, all in their original red cards. The sovereigns are currently available for AU$795 each + shipping and the halves at $395 each + shipping. Be quick, they won't last long.

(I have, of course, sent a small batch off to PCGS to get certified. These will be back in Australia by late August, I expect. Send me an email or give me a call if you’d like to be added to the waiting list.)
