The last time a 1951-PL sixpence graded PCGS MS66 went under the hammer, it sold for $2,500 (June 2017). The coin on offer here, photographed above, is the equal-finest graded by PCGS (6/17), and one of only five examples graded this highly. Scarce this nice.
