Australia, 1857 Sydney Mint Sovereign -

A totally original example of one of Australia’s earlier sovereigns. This coin came from an old collection from the western suburbs of Sydney, and has only recently been graded. The previous owner had held onto it for over twenty years. Although the coin is no gem, grade-wise, it’s a true blue collector’s coin that would suit a Sydney Mint date or sovereign type set.
