1953 Melbourne Penny long "5" different "3"

A rarer variety that is not often available in Mint State. Easily distinguished by its flat-topped figure “5” in the date. (Most 1953 Melbourne pennies have a seriffed “5” in the date.) A significant variation on the first of Queen Elizabeth II’s pennies.
