Coinex Coin Show 2015 - photo recap



I was in London last week for the Coinex Coin Show 2015. If you missed it, here are some snaps I took of the two-day event.

The venue: The Millennium Hotel, Mayfair, London. The Millennium Hotel has served as the coin show’s venue for years.

I attended the pre-open dealer session on Friday morning. Even though there were only dealers on the floor, it was busy.

Once the show opened to the public, the floor filled up quickly.

1852 Pound cracked die PCGS AU58

Amongst the many rarities on display and for sale was an 1852 cracked die Type I Adelaide Pound. It was graded PCGS AU58 and priced at £90,000. I believe the price was negotiable.

There was a wide range of coins on display, including world bullion coins, UK milled, proof sets, mint sets, and hammered coins.

Some dealers had a pleasing range of PCGS and NGC-certified coins.

The crowds were starting to thin out by Saturday afternoon, the last day of the show.
