Although the mintage of the 2004 large head twenty cent coin is much lower, the large head version of the coin is available in the annual mint set, meaning there are tens of thousands of coins in high grade. Conversely, the 2004 small head twenty cent coin was only released in circulation, so quality examples in high grade are scarce, and harder to find than the larger head variety in comparable grade.
