Australia, 1966 Proof Set -
A great example of Australia’s first decimal proof set, and one of the finest 1966 proof sets I’ve seen on the market in recent times. All the coins are graded PR69DCAM, except for the copper, which are graded PR68RD DCAM. The fifty cent is superb, with the most perfect fields I’ve ever seen on a 1966 round fifty cent, while the rest of the coins are equally as nice. As expected on coins graded PR68, the copper is flawless and free from spots, fingerprints, or toning. If you’re looking for a superior 1966 proof set, but don’t want to run the risk of buying it raw and ending up with substandard coins, this is your set.
